540 spam comments, in 1 day..

And all look like they’re hand-entered.

Subjects like “adfasfdsacvsa” — random text, but not random.  All centered around where the left hand rests on home row.

Guess the captchas aren’t working anymore.

Any suggestions?

Registered names-passwords-e-mail-verification kinda run though? The days of thingsihate.org as a public graffiti wall are over.

Time for elitism! Long live the aristocracy!

  4. I get them too
I get them at my blog, but they are only on my “about” post.

No other post gets spammed. All my spams start off with “Hi, nice site” then goes into mumbo jumbo.

much as I loathe to continue the use of the comments section as a message board, you should know that the technical difficulties extend further than just being susceptible to spam, and I was not able to post your article in any kind of non-screwed-up-looking way. Sean knows and is working on it (presumably when he’s not working on the things that, you know, make him money).
